When should I book my invitation consultation?
As soon as you’ve booked your venue! That’s the perfect time to begin designing your invitations and planning your stationery timeline.

When should I mail my wedding invitations?
Traditionally, wedding invitations are sent out 8 weeks before the wedding. Many couples now choose to mail theirs 6–12 weeks in advance, depending on guest travel needs and personal preference.

What should I set as my RSVP deadline?
Ask your venue when they need a final guest count, then set your RSVP deadline about 2 weeks before that date. This gives you time to follow up with any guests who haven't responded.

What is hand canceling (or hand stamping)?
Hand canceling is a service offered at the post office where your invitations are stamped by hand rather than by machine. This prevents damage to your envelopes, which can occur during automated processing. Just ask for it when you drop off your invitations!

When should I order Day-Of items like menus, signage, and escort cards?
We suggest placing these orders about 1 month before your wedding. Starting early helps avoid last-minute stress and ensures everything is perfectly coordinated for your big day.

How many additional invitations should I order?
We recommend ordering 10–15 extra invitations. While you can reprint a small quantity later, it’s often much more cost-effective to order extras upfront for last-minute guests, keepsakes, or addressing errors.
